Did Jesus Create The Heavens and the Earth -- Yes or No?
2
Did God Have A Helper Creating the Heavens and the Earth?
  • Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;
    (Isa 44:24 KJV)

3
Whoever Created the Heavens is the True God and Whoever Didn’t is Not
  • For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols, but the LORD made the heavens. (Psa 96:5)
  • Declare ye, and bring near, Yea, they take counsel together, Who hath proclaimed this from of old? From that time hath declared it? Is it not I--Jehovah? And there is no other god besides Me, A God righteous and saving, there is none save Me. (Isa 45:21 YLT)

Create in Greek = ktizo
  • G2936
  • κτίζω
  • ktizō
  • ktid'-zo
  • Probably akin to G2932 (through the idea of the proprietorship of the manufacturer); to fabricate, that is, found (form originally): - create, Creator, make.
5
One True God – His ID is “Creator of Heaven’s and Earth.”
  • The True God Created the Heavens and The Earth By Himself
  • There is Only One True God Jehovah
  • Any Gods who didn’t Create the Heavens and the Earth are Worthless.

Jesus Created All Things
  • Speaking of Jesus:
  • who is the image of the invisible God, first-born of all creation, because in him were the all things created, those in the heavens, and those upon the earth, those visible, and those invisible, whether thrones, whether lordships, whether principalities, whether authorities; all things through him, and for him, have been created, and himself is before all, and the all things in him have consisted. And himself is the head of the body--the assembly--who is a beginning, a first-born out of the dead, that he might become in all things --himself--first,
    (Col 1:15-18 YLT)

Every Use of the Word ‘Created’ in the New Testament
  • for those days shall be tribulation, such as hath not been from the beginning of the creation that God created, till now, and may not be; (Mar 13:19 YLT)
  • Wherefore also God did give them up, in the desires of their hearts, to uncleanness, to dishonour their bodies among themselves; who did change the truth of God into a falsehood, and did honour and serve the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed to the ages. Amen. (Rom 1:24-25 YLT)
  • Notice that the bible always separates false gods from the true God by saying he is the Creator versus the Created.
9
Created 2
  • for a man also was not created because of the woman, but a woman because of the man; (1Co 11:9 YLT)
  • for of Him we are workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to good works, which God did before prepare, that in them we may walk.
    (Eph 2:10 YLT)
10
Created 3
  • the enmity in his flesh, the law of the commands in ordinances having done away, that the two he might create in himself into one new man, making peace,
    (Eph 2:15 YLT)
  • and to cause all to see what is the fellowship of the secret that hath been hid from the ages in God, who the all things did create by Jesus Christ, (Eph 3:9 YLT)
  • Here it says that ALL THINGS were created by Jesus Christ. And in Isaiah 44:24 we saw that Jehovah ALONE created all things.
  • Either Jesus is Jehovah or the Apostles are wrong.
11
Created 4
  • and to put on the new man, which, according to God, was created in righteousness and kindness of the truth.
    (Eph 4:24 YLT)
  • because in him were the all things created, those in the heavens, and those upon the earth, those visible, and those invisible, whether thrones, whether lordships, whether principalities, whether authorities; all things through him, and for him, have been created,
    (Col 1:16 YLT)
  • Again we see that ALL THINGS were created through him and for him. So either Jesus is Jehovah or Jehovah was not alone when he created the Heavens and the Earth. That means Jehovah lied in Isa 44:24 and other places where he says He alone created the Heavens and the Earth.
12
Created 5
  • and having put on the new, which is renewed in regard to knowledge, after the image of Him who did create him; (Col 3:10 YLT)
  • forbidding to marry--to abstain from meats that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those believing and acknowledging the truth,
    (1Ti 4:3 YLT)
  • Notice it doesn’t say “Gods” plural but “God” singular. The bible doesn’t know of any other God besides Jehovah that created the Heavens and the Earth and everything in them.
13
Created 6
  • `Worthy art Thou, O Lord, to receive the glory, and the honour, and the power, because Thou--Thou didst create the all things, and because of Thy will are they, and they were created.'
    (Rev 4:11 YLT)
  • You are worthy, Jehovah, even our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because you created all things, and because of your will they existed and were created. (Rev 4:11 NWT)
  • Notice that ALL THINGS were created by Jehovah. Not some things Jehovah and some things another God.
14
Kingdom Interlinear Translation
15
Jehovah is the Creator
  • As we read in Rev 4:11 Jehovah Created All Things.
  • We don’t read Jehovah and his “helper” created all things.
  • We read that Jehovah ALONE created all things.
  • We read that any God that is not creator is worthless.
16
Created 7
  • and did swear in Him who doth live to the ages of the ages, who did create the heaven and the things in it, and the land and the things in it, and the sea and the things in it--that time shall not be yet, (Rev 10:6 YLT)
  • Again the signature of the true God is that he created the Heavens and the Earth and everything in them. And again it’s singular with no helper mentioned.
17
In Summary
  • The bible says that ONE God Jehovah created the Heavens, the Earth, the Sea and everything in them.
  • It says he created them ALONE.
  • It says that any God that didn’t create the Heavens and the earth is worthless. (PSA 96:5)
  • In the New Testament it says that Jesus created everything in the Heavens and the Earth. (Col 1:15-18) (Eph 3:9)
18
Summary 2
  • This has to be a Yes or No answer because the bible mentions no helper or other gods that created the Heaven’s and the Earth.
  • Did Jesus Create the Heavens and the Earth? Yes or No?
  • If Yes then he must be Jehovah in the flesh.
  • If No then he broke the first three commandments because any god who didn’t create the Heavens and the Earth is worthless (PSA 96:5) and Jesus let Thomas call him Lord and God. King Herod was eaten by worms for doing this very thing.

Summary 4
  • and on a set day, Herod having arrayed himself in kingly apparel, and having sat down upon the tribunal, was making an oration unto them, and the populace were shouting, `The voice of a god, and not of a man;' and presently there smote him a messenger of the Lord, because he did not give the glory to God, and having been eaten of worms, he expired.
    (Act 12:21-23 YLT)
  • Now in Asia people were polite so he probably didn’t want to hurt they’re feelings. But God didn’t seem too impressed with his politeness.
21
Yes or No?
  • If Jesus is the Creator then he is Jehovah in the flesh.
  • If not, then,He broke the first three commandments (like Herod when he was eaten by worms) because he is a worthless god and usurped Jehovah’s worship. In other words he let himself be an idol.
  • The “helper” answer that Jesus helped his Dad create everything is not in the bible ANYWHERE.
  • The bible always speaks of the creator as singular without exception.
  • Jesus can’t be “A” True God. He’s either THE True God or a worthless God like Herod.
22
Even simpler -- in Case You couldn’t answer Yes or No.
  • We’ll rephrase the question: Is Jesus created? Yes or No?
  • Because if Jesus was created then by definition he’s not the True God according the bible. But a creature like an angel or a man.
  • If Jesus is created then he broke the first three commandments (like Herod) because he is a worthless god (Psa 96:5) and usurped Jehovah’s worship because Jehovah is the creator not the created. In other words Jesus let himself be an idol. If Jesus broke the law like Adam then he can’t be the redeemer of mankind.
  • If Jesus was not created then he is Jehovah because, by definition, Jehovah is without beginning and without end. And there is only one Jehovah.
  • For a Child is born; to us a Son is given; and the government is on His shoulder; and His name is called Wonderful, Counselor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
    (Isa 9:6 LITV)
  • Jesus can’t be “A” True God. He’s either “THE” True God or a worthless idol.
