- Jesus is Jehovah’s most precious Son – and for good reason. He is called
“the firstborn of all creation,” for he was God’s first creation.
(Colossians 1:15)
- There is also something else that makes this Son special. He is the
“only-begotten Son.” (John 3:16)
- P. 41 “What Does The Bible Really Teach?”

- JW’s teach that Almighty Jehovah created Mighty Jesus and they both
created everything together. But when I said that since only the creator
should be worshiped according to (Rom 1:25) we should worship Jesus
- they then said Jesus didn’t
“create” he just helped Jehovah with the stuff He created.
- Otherwise we’d have to worship Jesus.

- Thus said Jehovah, thy redeemer, And thy framer from the womb: `I am
Jehovah, doing all things, Stretching out the heavens by Myself,
Spreading out the earth--who is with Me? (Isaiah 44:24 YLT)

- who is the image of the invisible God, first-born of all creation,
because in him were the all things created, those in the heavens, and
those upon the earth, those visible, and those invisible, whether
thrones, whether lordships, whether principalities, whether authorities;
all things through him, and for him, have been created, and himself is
before all, and the all things in him have consisted. And himself is the
head of the body--the assembly--who is a beginning, a first-born out of
the dead, that he might become in all things --himself--first,
(Colossians 1:15-18 YLT)

- 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation;
16 because by means of him all [other] things were created in the
heavens and upon the earth, the things visible and the things invisible,
no matter whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or
authorities. All [other] things have been created through him and for
him. 17 Also, he is before all [other] things and by means of him all [other]
things were made to exist, 18 and he is the head of the body, the
congregation. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that he
might become the one who is first in all things; (Colossians 1:15-18 NW)
- Notice the NWT inserts the word “other” 4 times to bend the scripture?
Because if Jesus created everything then he is by definition Jehovah.

- And Paul, having stood in the midst of the Areopagus, said, `Men,
Athenians, in all things I perceive you as over-religious; for passing
through and contemplating your objects of worship, I found also an
erection on which had been inscribed: To God--unknown; whom,
therefore--not knowing--ye do worship, this One I announce to you. `God,
who did make the world, and all things in it, this One, of heaven and of
earth being Lord, in temples made with hands doth not dwell, neither by
the hands of men is He served--needing anything, He giving to all life,
and breath, and all things; (Acts 17:22-25 YLT)

- In the book “What Does the Bible Really Teach?” it says that since Jesus
is the “firstborn” of all creation that means that Jehovah created him
first. But that Jesus is a part of creation and not Jehovah.
- The problem with this conclusion is that the bible doesn’t support
it.They take a few other ideas and formulate this concept.
- The bible clearly tells us what this “firstborn” concept is and it’s not
about Jesus being the first Creation of Jehovah.

- and God did raise him out of the dead, and he was seen for many days of
those who did come up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his

the promise made unto the fathers, God hath in full completed this to us
their children, having raised up Jesus, as also in the second Psalm it
hath been written, My Son thou art--I to-day have begotten thee.

- Now we have seen that “Firstborn” of God does not refer to the first
Creature of God but the firstborn from the dead.
- Or the first to overcome the Death that Adam brought on mankind.
- The bible is it’s own dictionary and we shouldn’t make things up then
adjust the bible fit our ideas.
