- “No man has seen [Almighty] God at any time.” (John 1:18 NWT) However,
humans have seen Jesus, the son…
- On page 203 the booklet “What Does the Bible Really Teach” uses this
verse, with it’s extra word “Almighty” to prove that Jesus was not
Almighty God.
|
|

|
- `And the Father who sent me Himself hath testified concerning me; ye
have neither heard His voice at any time, nor His appearance have ye
seen; (Joh 5:37 YLT)

- 30 Hence Jacob called the name of the place Pe·ni´el, because, to quote
him, “I have seen God (#430) face to face and yet my soul was
delivered.” (NWT Gen 32:30)
- Notice that Jacob saw “Eloheem #430”
- Is Eloheem Jehovah?
- Because if he is then men have seen Jehovah.
- And according to JW logic then Jehovah can’t be “God” either. Because
he’s been “seen”

- H430
- אלהים
- 'ĕlôhîym
- el-o-heem'
- Plural of H433; gods in the ordinary sense; but specifically used (in
the plural thus, especially with the article) of the supreme God;
occasionally applied by way of deference to magistrates; and sometimes
as a superlative: - angels, X exceeding, God (gods) (-dess, -ly), X
(very) great, judges, X mighty.

- Thus said Jehovah, thy redeemer, And thy framer from the womb: `I am
Jehovah (#3068), doing all things, Stretching out the heavens by Myself,
Spreading out the earth--who is with Me?
(Isa 44:24 YLT)
- Since Jehovah created the Heaven’s and the Earth Alone – then by
definition Eloheem is Jehovah unless Jehovah lied.
|
|
8
|
- Hebrew #430 by definition is the same as #3068 Jehovah
- Unless there is more than one creator.
- Which would make Jehovah a liar. (Isa 44:24)
|
|

|
- H3068
- יהוה
- yehôvâh
- yeh-ho-vaw'
- From H1961; (the) self Existent or eternal; Jehovah, Jewish national
name of God: - Jehovah, the Lord. Compare H3050, H3069.
|
|

|
- And Jehovah (#3068) hath spoken unto Moses face unto face, as a man
speaketh unto his friend; and he hath turned back unto the camp, and his
minister Joshua, son of Nun, a youth, departeth not out of the tent.
(Exo 33:11 YLT)
- Here Jehovah spoke to Moses face to face. So according to (John 5:37)
either Jehovah isn’t God or these verses mean something different.
- So the JW proof that Jesus can’t be God because we’ve “seen” him falls
apart badly here.
|
|

|
- “No man has seen [Almighty] God at any time.” (John 1:18 NWT) However,
humans have seen Jesus, the son… “Almighty” not in the Greek.
- I have only shown two examples but there are many more people that saw
Jehovah.
- It’s dishonest to use the “proof” that Jesus has been seen so he’s not
“Almighty” God; but then not apply the rule to Jehovah.

- And when Abram was ninety nine years old, Jehovah appeared to Abram and
said to him, I am the Almighty God! Walk before me and be perfect; (Gen
17:1 LITV)
- And your name no longer shall be called Abram, but your name shall be
Abraham. For I have made you a father of many nations. (Gen 17:5 LITV)

- 1 Afterward Jehovah appeared to him among the big trees of Mam´re, while
he was sitting at the entrance of the tent about the heat of the day. 2
When he raised his eyes, then he looked and there three men were
standing some distance from him. When he caught sight of them he began
running to meet them from the entrance of the tent and proceeded to bow
down to the earth. 3 Then he said: “Jehovah, if, now, I have found favor
in your eyes, please do not pass by your servant.” (Genesis 18:1-3 NWT)
- Remember Elohim is plural.

|
15
|
- And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me,
and live.
(Exo 33:20 KJV)
- Seek ye Jehovah and His strength, Seek ye His face continually.
(Psa 105:4 YLT)
- It seems like God wants us to die.
|
|
16
|
- In the bible it says that No Man Can See God’s face and live.
- Yet we are told to seek God’s face continually.
- Plus many people saw God and lived.
- But their flesh natures began the dying process for sure.
|
|
17
|
- “And (if) My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray
and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from
heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land”
(2 Chronicles 7:14)
- “Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face continually” (I
Chronicles
- 16:11).

|

|
- Actually come into God’s presence and let him start “killing” your sin
nature?
- Like being in “sunlight?”
- Perhaps to turn from your evil ways and depend on God and his strength?
- God desires to kill the natural in us that we might live in the
super-natural.
- “And He was saying to them all, ‘If anyone wishes to come after Me,
- he must deny himself, and take up
his cross daily and follow me. For whoever wishes to save his life will
lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake, he is the one
- who will save it” (Luke 9:23-24).

|
- Beloved, be not thou following that which is evil, but that which is
good; he who is doing good, of God he is, and he who is doing evil hath
not seen God;
(3Jn 1:11 YLT)
- All these scriptures are starting to “harmonize”
- To use these scriptures about seeing God to prove Jesus isn’t God is to
miss the point completely.
|
|
20
|
- if any one may say--`I love God,' and his brother he may hate, a liar he
is; for he who is not loving his brother whom he hath seen, God--whom he
hath not seen--how is he able to love? (1Jn 4:20 YLT)
|
|
21
|
- If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from
henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. (Joh 14:7 KJV)
- Jesus said this right before being “stakeified” on Passover.
- Whoever saw Jesus henceforth has seen the Father. It says 500 people saw
the resurrected Jesus. So people have seen Jehovah or else Jesus is a
liar and can’t be the redeemer.
|
|
22
|
- Jesus said if you’ve seen me then you’ve seen the father.
- Many people in the bible have seen Jehovah.
- So to say that since no man has seen God means Jesus was not God
contradicts the bible and makes Jesus a liar.
|
|
23
|
- Once a person has “seen the light” or been in God’s presence the natural
man dies.

|
- And this is the message that we have heard from Him, and announce to

25
|
- To thee no more is the sun for a light by day, And for brightness the
moon giveth not light to thee, And Jehovah hath become to thee A light
age-during, and thy God thy beauty.
- (Isa 60:19 YLT)

- There came a man--having been sent from God--whose name is John, this
one came for testimony, that he might testify about the Light, that all
might believe through him; that one was not the Light, but--that he
might testify about the Light. He was the true Light, which doth
enlighten every man, coming to the world; in the world he was, and the
world through him was made, and the world did not know him: to his own
things he came, and his own people did not receive him; but as many as
did receive him to them he gave authority to become sons of God--to
those believing in his name,
- (Joh 1:6-12 YLT)
|
|
27
|
- And Jesus cried and said, `He who is believing in me, doth not believe
in me, but in Him who sent me; and he who is beholding me, doth behold
Him who sent me; I a light to the world have come, that every one who is
believing in me--in the darkness may not remain; and if any one may hear
my sayings, and not believe, I--I do not judge him, for I came not that
I might judge the world, but that I might save the world.
- (Joh 12:44-47 YLT)

- To open the eyes of the blind, To bring forth from prison the bound one,
From the house of restraint those sitting in darkness.
- (Isa 42:7 YLT)

- and the leaves of the tree are for the service of the nations; and any
curse there shall not be any more, and the throne of God and of the Lamb
shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him, and they shall see His
face, and His name is upon their foreheads, and night shall not be
there, and they have no need of a lamp and light of a sun, because the
Lord God doth give them light, and they shall reign--to the ages of the
ages. (Rev 22:1-5 YLT)

- who being the shining splendor of His glory, and the express image of
His essence, and upholding all things by the Word of His power, having
made purification of our sins through Himself, He sat down on the right

- I am Jehovah; that is My name; and I will not give My glory to another,
nor My praise to engraved images. (Isa 42:8 LITV)
- Jehovah doesn’t share His Glory yet Jesus is His Glory. Hmmm?

- I charge thee, before God, who is making all things alive, and of Christ
Jesus, who did testify before Pontius Pilate the right profession, that
thou keep the command unspotted, unblameable, till the manifestation of
our Lord Jesus Christ, which in His own times He shall shew--the blessed
and only potentate, the King of the kings and Lord of the lords, who
only is having immortality, dwelling in light unapproachable, whom no
one of men did see, nor is able to see, to whom is honour and might
age-during! Amen. (1Ti 6:13-16 YLT)

- Eloheem created the Heaven’s and the Earth.
- Eloheem is plural in Hebrew. Yet God is one.
- Eloheem is Jehovah because Jehovah created the Heavens and the Earth
alone.
- If no man has seen God then Jehovah is not God and Jesus isn’t God
either. Because they’ve both been “seen.”
- When people “see” God their flesh nature begins a dying process as they
grow in Godliness.
- To say Jesus isn’t God because people have “seen” him is a dishonest
trick. Because people have seen Jehovah too.
